About the role - Field & Digital Marketer (FTC)

The role is a 3 month fixed-term contract or interim contractor opportunity with an immediate start. We will look to move you into a permanent position on successful completion of contract. Currently reporting to the Global Sales & Marketing Operations Manager, however effective end of June, we expect you to report into our Global Marketing Lead.

You will be responsible for lead generation and supporting global new business revenue goals targeting vertical areas of growth. The field marketer will work closely with our sales team to spearhead field marketing initiatives, as well as manage and coordinate day-to-day projects with the marketing team. There will be a focus on our digital demand generation strategy to meet key acquisition targets, using paid and organic channels i.e. SEO, social, email and content. You will be comfortable with setting up automated, lead nurture email campaigns, ideally be a Salesforce and Hubspot expert. You will be a B2B expert and focus on UK, US and international growth, developing strategies and initiatives to scale the business.

What you'll be doing

Field Marketer Responsibilities:
  • Take full ownership of creating and executing lead generation campaigns and activities, running email and digital campaigns
  • Owning and accountability for the sales qualified leads process
  • With a strong focus on digital & agile marketing strategies focusing on Account Based Marketing (ABM) you will be able to demonstrate the ability to further establish Poq's brand and to generate sales leads and pipeline within our vertical streams
  • Work closely with the Brand & Digital Designer to create campaigns and materials that appeal to our projected leads in order to nurture, qualify and track customers
  • Align campaign tactics to sales cycle
  • Integrate programs with product marketing strategy supporting the business with awareness, leads and pipeline contribution
  • Efficient execution of integrated marketing programs to expand Poq's footprint
  • Customer Advocacy & Content: use Customer References Stories, building a current assets Library with up to date relevant content
  • Drive thought leadership, awareness and demand generation, increase awareness and share of voice to support Poq's overall sales strategies to drive leads & pipeline
  • Innovate: lead tomorrow's digital approaches. Tap constantly into new digital & social marketing approaches that may be of value, creating a pipeline of tests with pilots on the most promising (focus on scalability and business impact). Track and report monthly campaign metrics including KPIs and assess the impact based on results
  • Monitor, analyse and report on performance of each campaign & activity and communicate results and plan for improvement; check lead quality and sales follow-up, and action timely if required
  • Distribute campaign results via regular reporting to all key stakeholders
  • Regular analysis of current market conditions, customer intelligence and competitor information as directed in order to adapt and adjust current campaigns in order to meet objectives
  • Ensure best practice sharing with appropriate audiences


Digital Marketer Responsibilities:
  • Create digital marketing campaigns across SEM, paid social and display advertising channels
  • Measure a formalised Poq lead flow process with conversion between leads, MQLs, SQLS to opportunity, looking at the entire web journey as a whole
  • Execute tests, collect and analyse data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns - acting as the source for the marketing data integrity
  • Optimise copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation
  • Research and implement search engine optimisation recommendations including researching and analysing competitor advertising links
  • Manage Hubspot, our CRM system including lead, nurture, lifecycle communication and segmentation campaigns
  • Integrate website refresh into hubspot to provide the mechanics for site measurement and nurture
  • Track, report, and analyse website analytics (via Google Analytics) and PPC initiatives and campaigns
  • Develop insights and make recommendations on areas for improvement to help us exceed revenue targets
  • Supporting the business' marketing strategy through digital marketing tactics by assessing and measuring on a monthly basis as part of leadership and board reporting


Experience:
  • At least 2+ years' experience in a digital marketing, lead generation or sales enablement role
  • Expert working knowledge of hubspot essential
  • Results and pipeline driven
  • High energy with a can-do approach
  • Strong knowledge of the various marketing disciplines especially Account Based Marketing, field marketing and digital marketing
  • Thorough knowledge and practical working experience of a wide range of direct digital marketing channels from website, to search engine, to social media channels, to digital multi-touch and nurture campaigns
  • Strong business acumen, analytical competency and influencing skills
  • Strong project planning and execution skills, with strong sense of project ownership and ability to anticipate possible roadblocks and provide viable solutions
  • Able to focus on the detail as well as the bigger picture
  • Experience of using modern marketing and sales processes and systems
  • Excellent time management, organisational and planning skills
  • Must be a team player and highly collaborative with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM system
  • Strong experience working with marketing automation
  • B2B demand generation or user acquisition experience at a high-growth software company
  • Experience with Salesforce and Google Analytics
  • Have built, analysed, and optimised digital marketing campaigns across SEM, paid social and display advertising channels
  • Video editing/video content creation experience
  • Extensive stakeholder relationship management and team player
  • Experience working in a fast-paced industry & a SaaS business
  • An understanding of the MEDDIC/MEDDPIC sales methodology
