£70,000 - £80,000 + Car + Company Benefits


Are you an Engineering Manager from an Electronics/RF background looking for a senior leadership role with an opportunity to progress to Director level?

Are you looking for a role that has a focus on leadership and management and do you have the ability to look at the bigger picture?

On offer is a role where you will focus on the strategy and development of a highly skilled department, focusing on delivering an excellent, unrivalled service to clients.

You will be responsible for ensuring contracts are completed and service levels met with some of the UK's leading organisations and blue chip clients in the Oil & Gas, Power industries as well as MOD and Government agencies.

This company are a well-established communications business who are looking to double their turnover in the next 5 years. They provide themselves on offering unrivalled, high levels of service to their client base and boast some of the UK's most prestigious businesses and organisations as their customers.

You will have a focus on leading and developing a highly skilled team, analysing procedures and ensuring service levels are met. You will be responsible for writing RAMS and focusing on process improvement.

You will be tasked with implementing change and will need to be a strong leader to ensure the highest standards are met within the Engineering team.

This role would suit an Engineering Manager from an Electronics/RF Installation background looking for a senior leadership role and progression to Director.

  • Daily planning of service work, including preparation of all technical and Health & Safety documentation
  • Management of emergency call outs and prioritising SLAs
  • Daily project planning support
  • Weekly reporting and efficiency analysis of electronic time sheet management for the company's engineers
  • Co-operative work with the operations department for planning and delivery of projects
  • Ongoing training and development of the engineering department
  • Review, development and implementation of engineering standard operating procedures
  • Attendance of weekly management meetings and engineering meetings and completion of the actions that arise from them
  • Upholding engineering standards across the department; including site visits, system inspections and document reviews
