Job Details

Teaching Personnel are searching for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work as part of an autism unit based in the Stockton area.

You will have experience in either a personal or professional capacity working with autism and sensory impairments, any other SEN experience is extremely valuable. A teaching assistant qualification is not necessary but desirable as you will be assisting pupils with their learning across the curriculum as well as personal development. The provision is for Key Stage 3 and 4 although academic levels can reach Key Stage 1. Knowledge of Makaton and/or PECS would also be valuable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
