Job Details

A Junior IT Project Manager is required by an incredibly successful technology company based in Poole who are currently experiencing exceptional growth as their customers require increased services across long-term digital transformation projects.

This role would be ideal for an individual who has some project department experience with a basic understanding of the project lifecycle of IT application and infrastructure solutions. The responsibilities of this position will include:
  • managing multiple customer-facing IT application and infrastructure projects
  • holding responsibility for the performance of projects from point of order through to completion
  • managing project resources
  • being a direct point of contact for customers and collaborating with other team members
  • dealing with changes, issues, and risks
  • completing administrative tasks

  • Some project management experience or experience working within a project department
  • Competent in dealing with multiple projects or task simultaneously
  • Experience in delivering solutions/services to external customers
  • Basic understanding of the project life cycle, ideally within infrastructure and/or application solutions
  • Excellent professional communication skills
  • Good time management skills, able to multi-task, and carry out tasks efficiently

Any of the following additional experience/skills would be advantageous:
  • A background in managing resource planning, managing project budgets, risk control, and operating change control procedures
  • Prince 2 qualifications
  • Agile project experience

Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is between £20,000 - £30,000 p.a. depending on experience plus performance related bonuses, which is typically around 10% of salary. Covid-19 & Remote Working:
The company is currently operating a remote working policy during Covid-19 restrictions where computer equipment will be provided so you can work from home. Normal office working will resume after restrictions are lifted. Therefore, applicants must be located within a commutable distance of Poole or be willing to relocate. Any further/additional remote working after restrictions have ended will need to be discussed upon application.
