Contracts Manager and Buyer required for leading property company in London.
Your new company
We are recruiting for a leading property and estate management business in London who are looking for a strong Procurement Buyer & Contracts Manager to ensure a solid supply chain is in place for any property maintenance services that are required across their UK portfolio. You will sit within a specific business unit and lead from the front to ensure a robust and effective supplier base.
Your new role
As the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for selecting, engaging with, and managing key suppliers predominantly around London and the South East. You will put together approved and preferred supplier lists, negotiate on rates and commercial agreements, and establish key KPIS that your suppliers must adhere to. Service is critical for your client base and so managing suppliers effectively is key within this role, to ensure service and quality is delivered. You will hold supplier meetings periodically to monitor and improve service and relationship.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a confident person who isn't afraid to challenge and negotiate. You will have prior experience within a procurement function, most suitable within some sort of property consultancy, but wider facilities and property would be considered. You will have experience running tenders and this could also be on a project ad-hoc basis so the ability to be agile is key here.
