Our client, a multinational Private Equity company is looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the carve-out of one of their portfolio businesses. You will be particularly responsible for working closely with the IT teams to ensure not only the Technology function is separated effectively but also the IT application and Infrastructure network across the business is effectively carved out. The hiring manager described the role as:
"A critical role in our portfolio team, working closely with the IT teams (all levels up to CIO's) to establish initiation activities for the carve-out, with a particular focus on the separation of applications and infrastructure across the entire organisation. This divestment is of a multi-million pound organisation, however, we are not looking for people who have worked on multi-year or billion programmes, as this will be a fast-paced delivery with a tight deadline within the year and within a flat structure. You must have have extensive carve-out/separation experience over roles and ideally have worked in a PE environment previously." To successfully in this role you will need to have:
- Experience leading end-to-end a carve-out or separation, particulary of a Technology function and systems/infrastructure enterprise-wide.
- Exposure to working within a Private Equity environment, whether for a PE backed organisation or a PE firm itself.
- An experienced Executive-level stakeholder management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate at all levels within the organisation.
