Continuous Improvement Manager - West Midlands - Permanent - Paying between £40,000 to £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Hays are partnering with a leading commercial organisation based in the West Midlands to recruit for a Continuous Improvement Manager, who is passionate about bringing continuous improvement to life, in order to lead on an improvement journey across their shared service function.
Your new role
As Continuous Improvement Manager you will lead on the improvement journey to process excellence for the transformation of this shared service function. You will be tasked with reviewing existing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement and will be responsible for the development of an improvement approach, via the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques, to drive improvement in efficiency and effectiveness. You will build influential relationships with stakeholders and colleagues to drive change and deliver improvement, whilst embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the function. You will also take the lead on the development and implementation of continuous improvement projects.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have proven experience of leading on continuous improvement and will have managed projects from inception through to delivery, ideally with a focus on people change, within a large organisation. You will have knowledge of continuous improvement best practice solutions, as well as excellent knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies. Ideally supported by a Lean Six Sigma certification. You will be persuasive in nature, with the ability to influence at a senior level, but most importantly will be enthusiastic about driving change and improvement.
