Public Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on a fantastic Business Services Client Manager opportunity with a forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Watford.

This role could suit an ambitious individual with aspirations for future Partnership as there is a genuine opportunity to progress to Director in 4-5 years' time.

The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA Qualified (part qualified also considered) with excellent technical experience of working in a varied general practice or accounts focussed position in practice. You will be proficient in the preparation of statutory accounts, tax compliance and have a good working knowledge of FRS105 and FRS102 reporting standards.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for their own portfolio of clients from an array of sectors involving plenty of client interaction, managing a team of junior staff, delegating and reviewing their work.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of clients
Preparation of statutory accounts from trial balance
Preparation and review of corporate/ personal tax
Assistance with business advisory work as the role develops
Reporting directly to partners
Reviewing the work of junior staff
Working closely with clients
Dealing with client queries

Requirements:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified
Finalist/ Part Qualified also considered
Experience of supervising / reviewing work
Practice experience is essential
Experience of managing a portfolio (ideally)
