Randstad is proudly recruiting a Deputy Care Home Manager for our exclusive client in the Luton area.

  • Notifying the Manager of any potential problems or issues in the Home
  • Assisting the Manager with staff recruitment, training and supervisions
  • Carrying out any other duties delegated to by the Manager
  • Maintaining confidentiality regarding all aspects of care in the Homes
  • Conducting pre-admissions and risk assessments where necessary
  • Updating and monitoring our electronic care plan system (PCS)
  • Managing EMAR
  • Updating Deputy and ensuring rotas are sent to Head Office

Training and Personal Development
  • Participating in a full induction before starting work
  • Developing a full knowledge of the Policies and Procedures of the Home
  • Completing all training of ELFYI and ensure all staff are up to date too

  • Knowledge of Person Centred Software and EMAR
  • Knowledge of Deputy, online ordering and remote working tools
  • QCF Level 3 in Care or equivalent
  • Computer Literate
  • Adaptable to changes in workload
  • Able to work alternate weekends with time off in lieu
