An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the Truro and Penwith College Business and Professional Team. The successful candidate will lead the planning, development, delivery, compliance, and monitoring of apprenticeship programmes across the college. The successful applicant will provide clear guidance on what constitutes an outstanding apprenticeship, developing a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring achievement rates and learner and employer experiences are of the highest possible standard. The successful candidate will build a network of contacts, ensuring they are well informed on ESFA and Ofsted expectations and innovations in apprenticeship delivery.
A detailed understanding of assessment, quality assurance for work-based qualifications and end point assessment is essential. The successful applicant will also have experience of leading and motivating staff to achieve outstanding performance and have a proven record of delivering solutions to meet customers' needs.
We are seeking applicants with good academic and professional qualifications, assessor and IQA qualifications and ideally a recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards. We are looking for someone who works with confidence, who has a proven track record of leading quality improvement, with a clear enthusiasm for this area. A Level 4 or above management qualification would also be desirable.
