What is the Role?
The Business Change Product Owner is responsible for day to day management of the business change team, working in partnership with the IT Project Manager and the Business, to ensure all business change activities and deliverables (including education and training, communications and engagement and business readiness) are delivered on time, to quality for Project Redwing.
This role will also be responsible for supporting the management and coaching of Business programme and Business Change resources to ensure successful implementation of Project Redwing and realisation of benefits. To provide forecast requirements, governance and quality assurance on business change deliverables across Project Redwing to ensure they are consistent and fit-for-purpose. As a member of the Project Redwing delivery team responsible for contributing to the development and growth of a high performing team.
Key areas of focus will be; Safety, Health and Environment, Methodology, Governance, Training, Communication and Engagement, Stakeholder Relationship Management, Leadership and Values, Performance Culture, Development and Continuous Improvement/ Innovation and Business Interface.
What do I need?
- Has experience in the Business Change discipline delivering complex change or transformation programmes. Experience as a LEAN or Agile practitioner desirable.
- Able to demonstrate deep subject matter expertise in large complex programmes with a strong understanding of all Business Change disciplines (organisational design, education and training, communication and engagement, business readiness) and best practices.
- Experience of managing projects, allocating resources and setting delivery standards.
- Able to matrix manage people and relationships effectively.
- Able to work in sensitive environments, identifying impacts of change brought about by transformation initiatives.
