Our client is a market leading business renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative IT reporting solutions and consultancy to clients within the UK and mainland Europe. Due to continued expansion, they are now seeking to employ a Support Assistant to further strengthen their existing team. The successful candidate will be used to working in small teams, able to multi-task, be a self-starter. As a Support Assistant they will have strong communication and interpersonal skills. In order to be successful in this role we are looking for someone who has the confidence and willingness to learn new skills, has a passion for talking to customers and the ability to take on new challenges with a positive 'can do' attitude.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Client Support Manager, this role encompasses two main areas of responsibility:

1. Acting as a frontline support to clients and dealers relating to website and data queries, including answering telephone and email queries.
2. Administrative support to the field-based team.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing support inbox
  • Dealing with customer support queries by email and telephone
  • Account creation and password resets
  • Call handling
  • Supporting company software requirements
  • Inputting and manipulating data on spreadsheets
  • Website testing
  • Validation of data
  • Administration of training sessions and workshops, meetings, etc.
  • Ensuring a high-level of customer service at all times
  • Representing the brand to a high standard
  • Working in a fast-paced environment
  • Checking data submissions daily and chasing missing data

Requirements:
  • Previous experience within a similar role - either telephony based or face to face customer service would be helpful
  • Strong communication skills with excellent telephone manner
  • Able to deal confidently with people at all levels and develop positive working relationships with team members and colleagues
  • Flexibility in response to changing priorities and needs and able to demonstrate a 'can do' and positive attitude
  • Willingness to acquire new competencies and accept new challenges
  • Able to analyse and solve problems and determine and recommend appropriate courses of action
  • Have a good understanding and experience of working with IT Systems such as MS Office. Prior experience of working with spreadsheets, data manipulation and inputting of data would be helpful
  • Ability to pick up training quickly
  • Self-motivated having worked in a busy environment where multi-tasking is essential
  • Organised and experienced in organization of meetings/training sessions

Qualifications:

Candidates should be PC literate - Microsoft Office products to an intermediate level with advanced Excel skills being useful. Any business or customer support qualifications would be helpful.
