Are you currently in a 1st Line IT Support role? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a hugely successful and growing company in Central Canterbury.

You will be the first point of contact for people on the business which has multiple sites and over 200 staff and whilst you will be based in Canterbury you will have to occasionally travel to the other sites and have overnight stays whilst at the other offices

Key responsibilities
  • Deal with all initial 1st line support issues across the network
  • Assisting with the installation and configuration of new hard/soft ware and some day to day network management
  • Previous IT experience in a similar role
  • Hands on experience supporting users within a Windows environment, including remote workers
  • Manage and priorities multiple support calls
  • Have an understanding of networking including hardware (switches, routers) security, performance monitoring and maintenance (desirable not essential)

  • An effective communicator
  • Have previous IT experience within a similar role
  • Focus, high attention to detail
  • Be comfortable working in a largely reactive environment

You will receive a competitive salary, hours of work are Monday-Friday 08.30-17.00 and benefits include 28 days holiday (including 8 days bank holiday)
