Becoming an Operations Analyst with Smart DCC:

Fantastic opportunity to secure an initial 6 months contract as an Operations Analyst within our MCC function. Working in a small team of operations analysts, the Operations Analyst role is a critical part of the MCC, accountable for the real time monitoring and analysis of live migrations with the primary focus of protecting the DCC live service and DCC Users.

What you'll be doing:

· Play an active role in the MCC operations team to manage and control scheduled migrations

· Ensure the DCC network and Users are protected during SMETS1 migration activity

· Monitoring of migration activity interpreting real time data to identify trends and potential risks to live service

· To halt or suspend migration activity in the event there are risks to live service or DCC Users

· Work across the organisation to understand root causes of migration incidents and ensure resolved

· Confirm the transition of migrated installations to the Early Life Support

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a similar role, Incident Manager, Senior Support Analyst
  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Excellent communication skills a must for this role
  • Experience of interpreting visualised data and acting on insights and trends
  • Proven experience of problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Experience of working effectively as part of a team, must be a pro-active team player with a collaborative mindset
