We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join our commercial team with specific responsibility on the food vertical in the EMEA region. The successful candidate will be targeted to support strategic market share positions through key supplier relationships to deliver double-digit gross profit growth.

We are the Food Ingredients division of an a leading $9 billion global product distributor spanning chemicals, speciality consumables, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics serving more than 80,000 customers across 100 countries.

Product Manager Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

+ Continuously monitor market share by mapping suppliers and competitors activity
+ Negotiate supplier conditions including purchase price, delivery, payment terms and other relevant environments.
+ Drive structural gross profit growth
+ Price Management – drive tactical pricing and communication with sales
+ Manage opportunity pipeline and maintain for all key supplier projects whilst ensuring key products and suppliers are clearly managed and targeted.
+ Ensure correct product documentation
+ Drive Inbound Supplier service performance improvements.
+ Optimize Working Capital

We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a sales or commercial role, alongside a food and/or marketing background. It is essential that you are self-motivated, focused, and flexible, organized, a strong communicator and possess excellent IT skills. The successful candidate will have proven commercial judgment, attention to detail, the ability to work with SFDC and Q and be able to work alone when required. You should strive for excellence in customer service and in the accuracy of information.
