Role Description
We're looking for a PR Account Executive to join our team. We are passionately committed to diversity and inclusion and welcome applications from a range of backgrounds and cultures.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for supporting our teams on media campaigns including:
  • writing email pitches and - in due course - pitching stories
  • drafting editorial copy; press releases, blogs, features, by-lines
  • setting up digital content across social channels
  • coming up with creative ideas for posts and sponsored content
  • using simple creative tools to design and make engaging content (i.e. videos, graphics, images etc)
  • researching how a topic has hit the headlines and summarising key stories
  • taking notes on calls/meetings and drafting recap emails
  • researching and creating media lists
  • evaluating and showing off our coverage in creative ways
  • carrying out social media evaluations
  • getting quotes and commissioning suppliers
  • helping to brainstorm ideas

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Experience or interest in PR, digital marketing, media, current affairs, finance / fintech, data, technology a real plus
  • Strong A levels and minimum 2:1 degree
  • Post grad PR or journalism a bonus
  • Grammatical excellence
  • Confident strong communicator, orally and in writing
  • Experience at producing content (written or otherwise, not just academic writing) also an advantage
  • Able to use Word and Excel
  • Familiar with digital marketing tools
  • Able to use Canva or similar photo/image editing tools
  • Canny online researching skills - able to present findings in a clear and compelling way
  • Able to work to deadlines - that is what PR is all about

Perks
  • Starting salary of £22,000 p/a

Location: Currently remote due to Covid-19. We will return to office when it is safe to do so with flexible working options.
