Castlefield Recruitment are currently looking for motivated procurement professionals to join an expanding organisation in Warrington as a Category Manager on a permanent basis. The role offers some great benefits including an annual bonus, car allowance and remote working.

The Role:

  • Lead on strategic sourcing projects related to your category
  • Support Procurement Manager in delivery of category strategy plans
  • Achieve cost savings and identify value added opportunities
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Public Sector Procurement policy
  • Support in development of other areas/categories within organisation

The person:

  • CIPS qualified or working towards
  • Knowledge of eProcurement systems
  • Ability to analyse data using Excel and various other tools
