Social Media Coordinator - up to £24,000

Meridian business Support have fantastic opportunity within our Managed Service division as a Social Media Coordinator based in Banbury:
  • Salary - up to £24,000 - Dependant on experience
  • Contracted to 42 hours per week
  • Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:30
  • 23 days holiday + Birthday day off

As aSocial Media Coordinator, you will take ownership of our online presence , using you understanding of social media you will set up advertising campaigns, increase attraction through different platforms and come up with out the box ideas to increase brand awareness.

Ideally you will have a degree in Marketing, a solid understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn etc) and be able to create new and exciting campaigns to generate new candidates. You will be required to work from the office 3 days a week with the flexibility to work from home the rest .

Core Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the day-to-day running of our brand social channels, including planning, scheduling, and responding to customers, driving follower growth, reach and engagement
  • Monitor social platforms daily, ensuring all posts are live and tagged correctly.
  • Participate in the development of new social media strategies
  • Gathering data for weekly and monthly reporting
  • Collaborate and work with the brand marketing and in-house creative team, to brief content for all social platforms
  • Regularly create organic content for social channels including Instagram Reels and TikTok content

Experience/Skills & Competencies:
  • Must have previous experience of managing social media platforms
  • Must have a solid understanding of technology, spreadsheets & Systems
  • Excellent eye for details with a creative fair & passion for content creation
  • Must be able to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
  • Must be a great team player and "whatever it takes" attitude
