Founded in 2017 by Anton Soulier, previously one of the first employees at Deliveroo, Taster creates and operates online restaurant brands available through on-demand food delivery platforms. We're experiencing 30% growth month-on-month, and currently operate different restaurant brands across London, Paris and Madrid. Taster has a team of over 100 chefs and has served over 1,000,000 meals last year alone.

Our vision is to build the largest global digital food court - which means rapid scaling across all our categories and key cities. To do this we are looking to invest in and build a world-class Brand Marketing team for our portfolio of brands.

Based in our London HQ, we are looking for a creative and innovative digital native who lives & breathes food and youth culture, to own and lead our social media platforms for our 3 block-buster digital restaurants.

As a member of the Taster Marketing team, reporting to the Global Marketing Manager, you will own the social channels of Out Fry, Mission Saigon and A Burgers, developing, creating and delivering next-level, innovative hyperlocal creative concepts and content that play a meaningful role in culture and speak to our consumer.

Your background & prior experience:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience gained from working at/with creative agencies, innovation studios, independent business or non-traditional content creators
  • Mobile-first mindset with demonstrable knowledge of all key social media platforms: TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.
  • Portfolio of previous projects that demonstrate skills in content creation, editing and copy writing
  • Confidence in working and collaborating with fellow creatives, content creators and influencers
  • Preferable experience with content and creative strategy e.g., briefings, pitch-backs, seasonal planning, performance tracking and reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organised and happy to juggle numerous tasks
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English

Core Responsibilities of the role:

  • Own all social media channels of our top tier restaurant portfolio: Out Fry, Mission Saigon and A Burgers, bringing three separate brands to life in a differentiated and engaging way
  • Develop and execute innovative digital content creative, experiences and copy across social platforms, authentic to our brand and local consumer
  • Cultivate the creative direction, vision and voice for our key restaurant brands in collaboration with the broader Brand Marketing team
  • Monitor the social landscape - what's trending, but also how to subvert and even hack the platform formats, tropes & capabilities
  • Work with cross-functional teams to refine your ideas for maximum impact across platforms
  • Bring strong working knowledge of relevant talent / photographers / illustrators / creatives to the table, helping us curate our roster of agencies
  • Be a source of inspiration by bringing new ideas and concepts to work, champion social media insights in the business

The online food delivery space has seen enormous growth in recent years and has driven the success of some of the biggest names in tech today, from on-demand delivery services to delivery-only kitchen operators. Digital food brands devised from the ground up for food delivery and optimised through technological innovations are the next frontier for the online food delivery market, which is expected to be worth $365 billion by 2030.

Taster's rapid growth is due to the success of our delivery-only restaurants: concepts like Mission Saigon and Out-Fry along with A-Burger, Stacksando and Bian Dang. Each was devised in partnership with renowned chefs, one of whom holds two Michelin stars, and each offers a unique dining experience, quality ingredients, rapid service, and food made for delivery. These restaurants deliver their meals through popular food delivery services like Deliveroo, UberEATS and Glovo, and prepare meals in local kitchens designed specifically for food delivery. This approach allows us to offer its customers quality food without compromise and enables customers to have meals from a Taster restaurant delivered in less than 20 minutes on average.
