SIMS Data and Exams Manager Based in South Birmingham £16 - £20 p/hr Monday - Friday To commence ASAP

Your new company

A Secondary School based in South Birmingham is looking for a school SIMS Data and Exams Manager to carry out temporary cover whilst they recruit to the permanent role. The cover is Monday to Friday, term time only, 8am - 4pm. To commence immediately

Your new role
The role will be responsible for the maintenance of the school's management information system (SIMS). This will include:
  • To record, analyse, audit and report data using the Academy MIS (SIMS) in a timely and accurate manner; to include target grades, progress, attainment, achievement of key groups of students including Pupil Premium at all key stages.
  • To access, manipulate and download data from sources
  • To work closely with SLT to construct the academy Timetable and administer the timetable
  • Maintenance and production of accurate assessment and reporting data within the Academy MIS database.
  • To produce and present regular analysis of student data for the leadership group and HOD to inform and support improved attainment and progress
  • To produce headline measures from each data collection with comparisons against academy and national trends
  • Maintenance and production of accurate assessment and reporting data within the Academy MIS database.
  • Knowledge of statutory data reporting requirements such as Academy census


MUST HOLD Data SIMs system experience.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a high level of data analysis with SIMS experience. You will also have recent satisfactory references for carrying out a similar placement within the last 2 years. You will also need to have an up to date DBS check, the school can't accept any applicants without this
