My client is looking for an experienced Head of Facilities and EHS to lead the transformation of the Facilities and EHS function from a legacy internally resourced organisation to an effective and efficient organisation maximising the benefits of the integration of specialist external suppliers where appropriate including alignment with a Corporate global integrated facility management initiative.
In parallel with the Transformation project the Head of Facilities and EHS will have responsibility for effective delivery of the current internally staffed function leading and managing all of their Facilities, Property & EHS operations ensuring alignment to the company strategy and goals and that all Legal & other compliance is achieved. This will require liaison with peers in the business areas and functional groups and the control of revenue and capital budgets.
Main Duties: -Lead and deliver the Facilities and EHS transformation project to achieve the strategic vision for the functions of Facilities, Property & EHS within the UK -Provide effective leadership of the existing Facilities and EHS organisation in parallel with the execution of the transformation project -Ensure 100% compliance with Legal and Other requirements -Drive energy strategy and compliance -Ensure the activities of the department are aligned to the business goals -Ensure personal goals are aligned with the department and the organisation -Measure the effectiveness of the department with department metrics -Oversee and manage all RUK property and liaise with external professionals -Create partnerships with the Business areas and Functional areas -Deliver effective planning and control of revenue and capital expenditure -Liaise with peers in the broader Technologies Corporation, customers and external authorities -Promote the culture Continuous Improvement -Promote ethical behaviour at all times -Lead the Business Continuity Process across the UK Business
Candidate Requirements: Essential: *Demonstrable experience of managing Facilities and EHS transformation projects *Extensive Facilities Engineering experience including Property Management processes *Proven experience in a Facilities Management/leadership role and of delivering EHS functions in a large organisation within a manufacturing or engineering environment *Demonstrable experience of senior Customer stakeholder engagement
