A good Secondary School based in Barking and Dagenham, is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate English NQT to join their team from September.

This good school located in the borough of Barking and Dagenham, are looking to recruit an English NQT to join their team from September. The Head Teacher, together with the supportive Senior Leadership Team, work hard together to continue to raise standards across the school. They have built a safe, welcoming and productive learning environment for their students, who are all supported and encouraged to reach their individual goals. They look to recruit likeminded teachers, with the same passion and desire to succeed.

Having been graded good in their most recent Ofsted, it was stated that "Pupil's personal development is well supported by a broad range of activities and enrichment. Their behaviour is good, whereby sixth-form students act as role models to the rest of the school. Pupils want to learn, rarely disrupt learning, and build positive relationships with each other and staff."

The role is to start in September and will be offered on a permanent basis for the right candidate.

To be considered for this English Teacher role you must have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • PGCE in English
  • Experience teaching English to KS3 and KS4
  • The desire to join a very successful department and school
