Vacancy Information
It is East Lothian Council's policy that successful applicants will be placed on the first point of the salary scale.

Temporary until 30/09/2021 or sooner

Days and Hours of Work:
Working times will be determined by service needs - currently between 06.00 and 21.00 and may include weekend working
Typical working times could be 0600 - 1400, 1000 until 1800 or 1300 until 2100 with 1 hour break
To start ASAP

Please note:We are currently operating with reduced opening times due to COVID restrictions. When services resume to normal there will be a regular requirement for the post-holder to work until 23.00, and sometimes later depending upon the event taking place (an enhanced payment is applicable for any hours worked after 21.00)
Job Details
Provide an efficient and effective caretaking/cleaning service within East Lothian Council/Partner premises which include local halls, community centres, schools, and multi-purpose general council buildings.
