Internal Auditor - Lloyd's / Insurance

Fantastic opportunity to join a leading Insurer and an experienced Internal audit function as you develop your Internal audit career.

Summary of role:

To design, plan and conduct effective internal audits of the syndicates and the Group plc companies. To provide assurance to the Audit Committee of the effectiveness of the internal controls within the group.

Opportunity on offer:

This role will give you a unique cross departmental view of a Lloyd's managing agent - involving exposure to front-office areas such as underwriting and claims, technical areas such as reserving and back office support areas.

You will engage directly with executives, senior management and non-executive directors. It will empower you to develop your core business skills including; judgement; relationship management; problem solving; project management; and communicating clearly with different audiences.

Not an auditor? - Ideally you will be currently working within the insurance sector with an understanding of the role Internal audit plays in a business and have an appreciation of the skills above required to assist you in developing your internal audit career.

This role may also suit either an external auditor who is currently auditing the insurance sector and looking for a move to the client side, plus if you are an Internal Auditor who has experience of and understands the processes involved and have either Insurance or wider Financial services exposure please get in touch.
