Job Details

Your opportunity
Site Reliability Testing is an evolving practice focused on applying Quality Engineering to the rollout of SRE tools, processes and changes.
For example, adoption of monitoring services in all test environments as well as production, to gain early sight of reliability issues and service level objective breaches before any impact to users.
Business Operations
Want to work with the latest technologies, as part of a team helping international organisations transform their core business capabilities? Whether you're working with on-premise systems, Cloud technology, or custom-developed solutions (to name just a few), your expertise will help clients deliver continuous improvement and innovation, from initial design right through to implementation and optimization.
Your role
Site Reliability Engineering focusses on areas such as automation, efficiency and reliability to deliver quality. As a site reliability tester within our Quality and Test Engineering team some of the key questions you will help to answer for our clients would be:

• How reliable is the system?
• How can we measure and quantify this reliability?
• What automated responses can be put in place to proactively handle known exceptions and incidents and adopt a self-healing approach?
• How confident are we that the reliability is not compromised by a change being delivered?
• How can we test and assure that the SRE requirements will be met before a production change is implemented?

Site reliability testers are naturally inquisitive and test the full stack of the application under test, from infrastructure through to the front end, protecting the user's digital experience from outages and ensuring large-scale, distributed systems are observable, manageable and fault-tolerant.
SRTs should think creatively and apply the latest tools and techniques including chaos engineering and digital experience monitoring. Working collaboratively with our clients and engineering teams you will help promote and embed reliability engineering throughout our programmes.
