Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Lead Developer
Reporting to the RPA Solution Architect, the RPA Lead Developer is responsible for the full systems development life cycle, providing highly effective automation solutions for manual processes. This key position defines and implements the optimal approach to RPA capability creation within the business.

The RPA Lead Developer will assess as-is processes and identify which parts can be automated. The successful candidate will work closely with Business Analysts to optimise processes, improve automation potential, followed by assisting in designing to-be process maps. You will help oversee the delivery of high-quality automation solutions in accordance with the agreed best practice delivery methodology, to achieve a consistent high standard of solution to business requirements. You will also ensure that all automation solutions are fully integrated into each business area and meet KPI metrics.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of software development, including the use of one of the leading RPA software products. You will be passionate about finding simple yet effective solutions for business problems and have excellent problem-solving skills. You will also be able to identify the key obstacles faced by a user, and how to drive best practice through automation. The RPA Lead Developer will be an excellent communicator, able to effectively convey technical messages to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

In addition, it is expected that the successful candidate will have exposure of development in a range of various technologies. This may include C#,, VBA, HTML, CSS, Python and Javascript.
