Hourly Rate: £16.34 - £17.82
Salary: £29,821.93 - £32,522.92 per annum
Contract Duration: Permanent
The successful applicant will have day to day responsibility to lead and manage the early years team within the setting to deliver high quality early learning and childcare, in line with local and national policy, procedures and objectives under the direction of the Headteacher/Setting Manager. To deputise for the Headteacher /Manager and have full responsibility for all aspects of The Early Learning and Childcare setting during school holiday periods.
BA Childhood Practice (SCQF Level 9), BEd or other relevant child care qualification to SCQF level 9 or currently be working towards this level of qualification
In addition to this a practice qualification is required: HNC Childhood Practice/Childcare and Education or Social Services Children and Young People SCQF Level 7/SVQ 3 Children's Care Learning and Development (must include units relating to children's learning and development) or NNEB/SNNEB
All successful applicants for early learning and childcare posts will be required to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of appointment and maintain registration throughout the period of employment.
