Based in the Mile End Centre in Paisley, Renfrewshire's Health and Social Care Partnership are looking to recruit a Telecare Systems Co-ordinator. This is to support the Technology Enabled Care Service (TECS) to provide operational support in the transfer from the current analogue telecare technology to digital. The post will support the TEC service in ensuring that Renfrewshire have completed the switchover to a fully Digital TEC service by 2023.

You will be responsible for supporting the TEC service during the analogue to digital switchover place, with direct responsibility for developing necessary procedures with regards to the implementation and use of new digital alarm technology.

You will operationally support the transition, ensuring robust processes and procedures are in place in relation to staff training, equipment testing and programming, processing of service referrals, data analysis and reporting. You will be working with Telecare suppliers and co-ordinate the day to day scheduling of activity as well as ordering of all equipment in relation to the digital switchover and ensuring adequate stock is maintained. You will also be providing reports, statistical returns and practice evidence for the Care Inspectorate/Telecare Services Association quality standards framework and monitor the progress of the switchover. You will monitor reporting systems to ensure service users remain safe during this transition to new digital technology.

It is essential that you possess an SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or are willing to work towards this while in post in order to achieve SSSC registration. You will have effective interpersonal skills and experience in dealing with customers in a face to face, phone and digital environment. You will be observant, with analytical skills and be able to translate user requirements into working solutions and support the continuous improvement of services. You will be able to develop relationships with stakeholders whilst maintaining confidentiality of research data. You will have experience of working in a change environment, working to deadlines in a creative and innovative way, with a focus on the service user.

It is desirable that you have experience of a call handling system in a care setting as well practical operational experience of a technology enabled care service.
