It is East Lothian Council's policy that successful applicants will be placed on the first point of the salary scale.

Temporary full time post until 30th June 2022

Days and hours of work:
Monday-Friday, 0900-1700
To start July 2021


Job Details
To support the development and sustainability of DYW provision with a specific focus on Foundation Apprenticeships and School College Partnership (SCP) programmes.

To establish strong links with schools, further education, higher education, employers and training providers to enhance the range of courses available to pupils ensuring progressive pathways and the best outcomes for young people.

Job Requirements
Relevant QualificationsEducated to HND or degree level in a field related to sales and marketing, career
development, education or employment or be able to demonstrate equivalent
knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.

PVG MembershipThis post is considered as Regulated Work with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.

All preferred candidates for posts carrying out regulated work with these groups will be required to become a PVG Scheme member, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if they are already a member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made by East Lothian Council.
