The Teacher of Computing will be required to exhibit the highest standards of learning and teaching are within the classroom; ensure the fluid process of departmental monitoring and tracking; that SQA procedures and paperwork have been accurately and are timeously implemented; and to ensure that Wallace High delivers on the key drivers and priorities within the National Improvement Framework, including a key focus on literacy across learning.
The postholder must be confident, articulate and dynamic and be able to demonstrate their ability to be creative, motivate others and exercise effective classroom leadership, organising work to meet tight timescales, and ensuring that the faculty is meeting the needs of Wallace High's young people. Candidates must possess GTCS registration in a subject which allows the teaching of Computing to SQA standards.
This post will commence in August 2021.
