Job Title: Marketing Officer

Hours: Full time - 35 Hours per week

Main Location: Sighthill Campus

Contract Basis: Temporary until 3 September 2021

Salary: Band F - £27271 to £29263 per annum (Appointment is usually made at first point of the scale. Role is subject to the application of a national process of Job Evaluation)

Note for Internal Applicants - appointment into this role may be considered on a secondment basis. Prior agreement from your line manager is essential.

We are looking for a dynamic and results driven Marketing Officer to join our fast paced marketing team to drive awareness of Edinburgh College and engagement with key audiences.

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of effective integrated marketing campaigns across all platforms which promote the College course portfolio, services/facilities and support the achievement of student recruitment and income generation targets.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree or equivalent level in a relevant/compatible subject area and have demonstrable experience in planning and executing effective integrated digital and off-line marketing campaigns. Creativity along with strong copy writing and content development skills are pre-requisite for this role.

An enthusiastic and proactive approach is essential as well as the ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with staff at all levels across the college.

The successful candidate may be required to work at any Edinburgh College campus.
