We are seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to join our team as Principal Teacher Pupil Support. The school is situated close to the centre of Dumfries, making it accessible to all the local facilities. In October 2018, The Bridge (a key part of Dumfries Learning Town) opened and is within easy walking distance of the school; offering a wide range of qualifications for older learners. Being at a point where the A75 and A76 meet, travel to the new campus is straightforward.

This post form part of Dumfries Learning Town schools and/or the Bridge to deliver courses as part of the BGE and /or senior phase curriculum as appropriate to meet the needs of our learners.

Applicants for teaching posts must be registered in the relevant sector with the General Teaching Council for Scotland, Clerwood House, 96 Clermiston Road, Edinburgh, EH12 6UT.
These posts are considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
