Job Description
Stirling Council seeks to appoint a highly motivated and dynamic individual with an excellent track record in school leadership for the post of Head Teacher, Stirling Inclusion Support Service. The Service is situated in the beautiful town of Stirling in Scotland's central belt and has excellent commuter links.

Stirling Inclusion Support Service is a specialist service that works closely with schools, partners and families to improve outcomes for children and young people who present with social, emotional and behavioural needs. The Service consists of a multi-disciplinary team that provides outreach support to schools and has a primary base (Millhall) and a secondary base (Chartershall) that offers a more intensive level of support for a small number of children and young people who require this. The Service promotes the importance of positive relationships and a trauma informed and rights based approach, providing a nurturing and inspiring learning environment where children and young people can develop confidence, make informed decisions and achieve their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity requiring strong leadership, excellent communication skills and a strong knowledge of current educational developments, including additional support needs. We are looking for an inspirational leader who will be committed to delivering excellence and equity by leading continuous improvement and promoting high quality learning and teaching opportunities, working in partnership with schools, partners, families and the wider community.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have a lead role in developing and supporting local authority policy and procedures and in staff learning and development.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable groups Scheme (PVG).

It is Stirling Council's policy to ask that you pay for this.

If you've got the right skills for the job we want to hear from you. We encourage applications from the right candidates regardless of age, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief or race.
