The Crazy Bear Farm Shop is an award-winning butchery, delicatessen and smokehouse, surrounded by 80 acres of working farmland adjoining our Stadhampton hotel.

We are the first farm and shop in the world to be awarded TSG status - for our traditional farming methods, pure-bred stock, and recognition by The EU Commission as producing an exceptional and distinctive product. All of our Gloucestershire Old Spot pork and Welsh Badger Face lamb is reared at The Crazy Bear Farm.

Crazy Bear Group are recruiting an experienced Farm Shop Manager to lead our award winning Farm Shop to future successes

Location: Stadhampton

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

Working hours: Retail working hours (including weekends)

What will I be doing as a Farm Shop Manager?

·Embracing your own proven experience of Managing or Owning a successful high end farm shop, and utilising that knowledge in this role

·Utilising your Retail Food Industry experience, you will develop new food products to sell with our talented Chef's

·Work with external suppliers and our owner to continue to bring luxury products into our Farm Shop - and ensuring that we only bring on the highest quality products

·Use your experience in facilitating online shopping (including logistics) to devise and facilitate online shopping

·Managing a team of up to 6 people with your prior exceptional management skillsand successfully and profitably running our Farm Shop and Café

·Be responsible for stock levels and ordering new stock when required, and having a keen eye for detail when stock arrives and needs merchandising

·Putting our customers at the heart of everything you do. Including having in depth knowledge on all products within the shop and passing that knowledge onto your team through training

·You will share your passion for home-made artisan food with your team and customers
