Make an impact as Scheme Accounting Assistant

Reporting to the Assistant Scheme Accounting Manager and Scheme Accounting Manager The role will assist the Scheme Accountants within a team in the provision of a full pension scheme accounting service to designated clients We're supporting our clients as they adapt to a new world in the wake of COVID-19. We're now recruiting for roles which will help our clients to deliver vital services and to resume business wherever possible.

What you'll be doing:
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Adhere to the ISO and Investors in People Standards, Quality Management System and comply with pensions and FCA regulations and initiatives, for example, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
  • Process transactions on the accounting system in an accurate and timely manner
  • Process complaints at the earliest opportunity with a positive attitude,
  • Identify and report risks and breaches immediately to your line manager and /or the Operational Risk & Compliance Department

What we're looking for:
  • Previous reconciliations experience
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume transactional environment
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Excel - able to sort, filter and produce easily readable spreadsheets
