South West Advocacy Network (SWAN) is launching a new advocacy service on the Isle of Wight providing Independent Mental Health Act, Independent Care Act and Independent Mental Capacity Act advocacy. We have an exciting opportunity for a new Service Manager who will play a crucial role in establishing and leading our new service on the island.
SWAN supports the most disadvantaged and marginalised people in local communities. We believe that everyone has the same right to be heard, be in control of making choices, and to be safe from violence and abuse. Our services are free, confidential, and non-judgmental. Our approach is focused on empowering individuals, promoting independence as much as possible.
The Service Manager will be responsible for the service meeting targets and delivering on contract requirements. We are looking for an experienced leader. Someone with a positive approach and a high degree of personal responsibility, who can motivate our new team to deliver the best quality service for the vulnerable people we represent.
We are looking for an experienced manager who has, or is willing to work towards, a Level 5 management qualification.
