The ongoing changes in primary care have created the opportunity for a new role within the Primary Care Team. The Primary Care Services Manager, will provide a critical role in supporting the development and delivery of Primary Care services in Forth Valley, working collaboratively with Clinical Leads and professional advisers from General Practice, Dentistry and Optometry, and will be a key member of the Primary Care operational group along with colleagues from finance and estates.
As well as helping deliver contracts for primary care independent contractors, including the PCIP for general practice, the post-holder will help develop effective interfaces with Community Pharmacy, Intermediate Care and Acute services. They will also provide support for the practice manager of our small board run practice.
They should have good interpersonal and organisational skills and show strong leadership abilities. A good working knowledge of primary care contracts would be desirable.
