Your new company
A well-established business manufacturing and retailing a variety of products, across many areas, including workwear. The company has seen excellent growth over recent years, supplier of a number of well-known retailers, based near Oldham. Due to the business growth, there is an opportunity to join as an Assistant Product Manager.
Your new role
You will be an Assistant Product Manager, supporting the Product Manager with the introduction of new products, improvements of existing products and the effective marketing of the products range. You will work closely with the brand team to create online and offline activity including PR, promotions, direct marketing, advertising and POS. A large aspect of your role will be to liaise with far east suppliers, project management of the certification process, and production of literature and data sheets.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum of 12 months experience with product marketing, and experience in a B2B environment, be very hands on and be able to handle responsibility as well as being a good team player. You will have a keen eye for attention to detail and be able to demonstrate initiative and creativity and have the tenacity to overcome issues to deliver agreed timescales.
What you'll get in return
You will receive £95-£115 a day (depending on experience), support from the company for any training courses you wish to attend, and 23 holidays per year plus bank holidays.
