Islamic Relief Worldwide is an independent humanitarian and development organisation, serving humanity for over 36 years. IRW are currently recruiting for the position of 'Junior Legal Counsel' to join its dynamic Governance Division. The post holder will be a vital component in advising our teams based in Birmingham and overseas. You will represent IRW with key stakeholders including the Charity Commission and donors. There will also be opportunities to travel and see our work in the field.

This role requires an all-rounder with good judgment and the experience and confidence to hit the ground running.

The successful candidate must have or be:

UK qualified solicitor (NQ - minimum of 12 months post qualification experience)
Previous experience of working in a legal and compliance environment
Knowledge and experience of one or more of UK company law, charities law, regulatory, antifraud, terrorism and bribery laws
Proven ability providing practical, reliable legal advice
