Family Lawyer - 3yrs PQE+

Gatwick

£36000 - £48000

An opportunity to work closely with the Head of Department and develop professionally at this modern legal firm.
The firm have been established locally for some considerable time and provide a full suite of legal services to both commercial and private clients they have a strong base of clientele in and around the Gatwick region. The Family team are looking to bring on board a qualified family lawyer to manage their own caselaod, work with the Head of deparmtment and develop further in order to take on some of the more complex work over time. The role will therefore suit a solicitor or legal executve with at least 2-3 years fee earning experience. You should be able to comfortably manage dealing with some of the more straghtforward casework effectively unsuperiviesed and advocacy will be actively encouraged. Support will be provided to you as and when required with more complex matters to ensure you develop your professional expertise while at the same time expanding the depth and breadth of the work for the team as a whole.

The department manage wholly privately funded casework consisting of:
  • Divorce and dissolution of Civil Partnerships
  • Financial Disputes
  • Collaborative Law
  • Children
  • Domestic Violence
  • Cohabitee disputes and separation
  • ‍Pre-nuptial/Cohabitation Agreements
