Elevation Accountancy and Finance are currently working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced and confident Purchase Ledger Data Processor to join a reputable business based in the Sheffield area. This is a Brand New position due to growth within the team! This role is a contract position for 6 months, but may extend.

Duties of the Purchase Ledger Data Processor include:
* Match off Data reports from IT and reduce Stock Value on the system. * Production of timely and accurate statement reconciliations. * Monitor/reduce unallocated cash on the ledger and liaise with Accounts Payable (Data) to ensure invoices are processed to enable the allocation of cash. * Dealing with both supplier and internal queries. * Assisting in the resolution of invoice queries. * Working closely with Accounts Payable (Data) to ensure invoices are reconciled in time for the payment * Answering telephone calls/E mails * Any other duties as and when required by management.
Role requirements include:
- At least 2 years' working within a purchase ledger function - preferably a large team environment - Ability to work well in demanding environments - Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel - Excellent communication skills
