Elevation Recruitment are currently partnered with a global manufacturing business based in Rotherham to assist in the recruitment of a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their close knit and friendly finance team. This role is a 6 month fixed term contract initially, to add support to the team due to internal movement and progression, and whilst the business are implementing a new system and working on a number of projects.
Within the role, you will be predominantly raising sales invoices, issuing credit notes and statements, including copy documents as requested, and supporting the wider team. Whilst a background working in a finance team is beneficial, it's not essential for this role.
To be successfully considered for the role, you will have:
- strong attention to detail and data entry skills
- a proactive and enthusiastic approach
- natural problem solving skills
- the ability to work within a team
- exposure to Sage is preferred but not essential, but you must be strong at picking up new systems
