Our client, a rapidly growing online business, is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join their passionate and successful team.
This is new position - initially a 12-month contract is available, but it is hoped this could lead to a longer contract term. The role is office based, some tasks however could be handled remotely, and an element of flexitime is possible.
We need an experienced Marketing Manager who can streamline and improve all areas of the Digital Marketing Mix.
Main Responsibilities (in order of priority);
Google Adwords - Manage our Adwords and Shopping Campaigns. This requires continuous testing and improving of key brand Ads and maintenance of other smaller brands.
SEO - Working with our IT Dept to ensure our website content is fully optimised to ensure maximum online exposure and customer conversion.
Email - Manage our Dotmailer Email platform to deliver the best Email strategy to our growing customer base.
Affiliate - Manage our ongoing Affiliate programme through Awin, our chosen Affiliate Network.
Website Management - Manage our onsite plugins and Re-Marketing Tools.
Working as part of the e-commerce team other duties might also include;
- Managing our Social Media. Currently we are yet to benefit from our Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter presence.
- Utilising other Marketing opportunities such as bespoke Public Relations
To be successful in this role you'll be highly literate and have a deep understanding of a wide range of computer software and applications.
Qualifications or Certified Experience in Google Adwords will be required to manage our Campaigns successfully.
Strong experience of heading up a Digital Team to ensure tasks are either handled personally or delegated appropriately.
Excellent communication skills will be required to deliver instructions in a professional and polite manner. An ability to listen, empathise and engage with all members of the team will be crucial.
Other beneficial candidate requirements:
- Experience with Photoshop and/or other image editing software.
- Experience with content management systems.
- Excellent experience with Excel to deliver reports from various content management systems.
- Good organisational skills - be able to prioritise, and plan workloads.
- Be self-motivated - Show initiative and able to work under pressure.
