Your new role

As a Sales Manager, your focus will be to grow the business through implementing effective development strategies. You will be responsible for maximising the sales team’s potential, crafting sales plans and ensuring that the Health and Social Care sector meets growth targets.

Whilst we can’t promise that every day will be the same, your key responsibilities are likely to be:

+ Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
+ Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
+ Motivate and encourage your team
+ Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales executives
+ Build and promote strong, long-lasting employer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
+ Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
+ Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

We’re looking for positive people who are passionate about growing the business, our essential requirements are:

+ Experience within the Health and Social Care sector or a similar environment
+ English and Maths (Level 2 GCSE or equivalent)
+ Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close; with practical understanding of sales techniques, behaviours and critical success criteria
+ Experience managing people
+ Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
+ Commercial acumen with strong business sense and industry expertise
+ Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
+ A strong empathy with both the learners and employers who are likely to use the service
+ Skills to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation

You will need to be a people person, representing and promoting our behaviours to our learners and employers. We look for people that demonstrate and encourage inclusivity, passion, openness, togetherness, impact, improvement, judgment and curiosity.

+ Sales qualification
+ A qualification that relates directly to teaching and learning
