Job Details

We are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Controller on a part-time basis.

We use Sage accounting software and the Debtors Ledger is part of an administrative system which has been built using a comprehensive database combined with Microsoft Office applications.

The role will include the following tasks:
  • All aspects of the day-to-day purchase ledger accounting
  • Performing the month-end Debtors, Creditors and Bank Reconciliations
  • Updating the Nominal Ledger
  • Completing quarterly VAT returns
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements

The successful candidate will have:
  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Controller
  • Experience of Sage accounting software
  • Strong computer skills including the advanced application of Excel
  • Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with other members of the Administration and Marketing Teams
