Job Details

Due to recent expansion within the Service Desk team, we have a brilliant opportunity for a 1st Line Support Engineer to join a company in the medical sector. The successful candidate will join a close-knit and supportive team of Analysts and will play an important role within the IT Support department, providing technical support to users and clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network and system issues
  • Diagnosing software and hardware issues
  • Escalating technical issues as required if they can't be resolved
  • Setting up PCs, new users, mobile devices and printers
  • Providing technical support over the phone, by email and face-to-face
  • Work to meet deadlines according to SLAs

  • Active Directory
  • Group Policy
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Office Suite including 365
  • Basic Networking knowledge
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • VMware/Hyper-V (Desirable)
  • Previous 1st Line experience
