DevOps Operations Engineer – AWS, Deployment (Terraform, Ansible), Agile – Junior to Mid Weight Level
London EC4N – Fully Remote during Covid / Moving to Part Remote
£40,000 – £45,000

+ Administer the Simulation Platform and related products including backups and monitoring
+ Respond to, track, and resolve Service Requests and incidents
+ Document processes and operational knowledge base
+ Maintain, improve, and evolve products deployments CI, monitoring, and alerting processes
+ Identify areas of improvements or best practices
+ Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to ensure high-quality development

Role Requirements:

+ Deep technical background (operating systems, networking, application performance management, load balancing, security systems, databases, etc.)
+ Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, Jenkins,
+ Experience with Terraform, Ansible
+ Experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53, RDS, CloudFront, ECS, SES, EBS, IAM
+ Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
+ Knowledge of best practices and IT operations

Nice to have

+ Experience with driving cloud integration within an organization
+ Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
