You will be required to work 6 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year.

Are you enthusiastic, motivated and looking for a new coaching opportunity?

We are looking for teachers and coaches who can provide an encouraging and supportive environment to help nurture our swimmers, for those wanting to compete and those simply there to keep fit. We would look for you to provide swimming coaching to contribute to the development of all members, and to maximise the development and performance of our swimmers.

You will be based at the Ryan Leisure Centre you will be responsible for instructing swimming lessons and may also be involved in the delivery of Swimming Club sessions. Instruction will take place during the daytime, evenings and weekends for which this rate of pay is inclusive.

You will ideally possess a current UKCC Level 2 Teaching Aquatics/ Coaching certificate, or equivalent. A UKCC Level 1 Teaching Aquatics/ coaching certificate is essential. You will have excellent communication skills, be enthusiastic, reliable and have experience of teaching both children and adults. You will also have experience of writing and following lesson plans and the ability to work with varying abilities of swimmers. You must have excellent Customer Care skills and the ability to support all members. Ideally you will have background knowledge of the facilities at The Ryan Leisure Centre and an understanding of Child Protection Issues. A First Aid Certificate and knowledge of current Health and Safety issues are desirable.
