Main Purpose of the role:

Supporting the Global Head of Internal Communications and Engagement with the delivery of the internal communications strategy, it's programmes and other key deliverables for Arcadis globally.

Working as a senior manager to advise and support our leadership teams - with a focus on their priority programmes - on the effective communication and mobilisation of our people to achieve the right level of employee engagement around our corporate vision and strategy.

You will be adept at designing the supporting tools and integrated platforms that rally our key audiences around strategic programmes for successful outcomes. Your focus will be to connect innovation with data and audience behaviours whilst aligning with the strategic advice you provide for initiatives and corporate agendas.

    \t Ensures IC plan and editorial calendar is 'message' and not 'channel' led - creating clarity of conversation and desired outcome from communication. \t Designs and manages the core global channel - Sharepoint intranet - and providing advice on other channels. \t Manages the Sharepoint Intranet channel content and strategy through the regional IC Community of Practice to ensure global consistency and global initiatives are amplified across regions \t Develops and delivers alongside leaders at a global and regional level, appropriate mobilisation agenda to drive cultural change - developing supporting collateral \t Maintains an external network that provides insight into best practice and innovation in internal communications and ensures content knowledge is fresh and up to the minute \t Often the first point of contact to advise and create global internal communications, programmes and campaigns that have maximum impact, hits at the right time and in the right tone. \t Leads, consults or coaches the development of key internal stakeholder communications strategies aligned to our vision and strategy and enables their successful rollout and outcomes in conjunction with the team. \t Develops an appropriate mobilisation agenda to drive strategic and cultural change as related to the Global Internal Communication plan and wider Marcomms plan as appropriate including campaign content for internal audiences \t Designs and manages content (and channels where appropriate) for both global and local communication channels. Copy writes and creates content alongside stakeholder community outlined above. \t Ensures consistency of messaging and tone of voice, aligned with the global Editorial Board and global editorial calendar across all internal platforms (and advise on external where appropriate). \t Aligns internal communications and stakeholders with external messaging and brand. \t Owns, monitors and conducts channel validity assessments to ensure the channels provide the right platform and reach for the global employee audience. Uses data and analytics to make strategic decisions around audience behaviours, complexity of messages and tools. \t Supports the global head of IC with the matrixed management the global IC Community of Practice and supports professional development of members through their own insights and development. \t Maintains an internal and external network that provides insight into professional development, as well as best practice and innovation in internal communications, change management and people. \t Manages external service providers to achieve maximum return from investment in spend, ensuring high quality outputs and innovation. \t Oversees and provides guidance on the internal application of the brand.

      \t No less than 8 years' experience in internal communications management \t Degree educated with an advanced or professional communication in marketing, communications or PR \t Collaborative approach and strong team player - effectively links both internal and external communications \t Previous experience of employee branding and employee engagement, including culture change programmes \t Experience of C-suite relationships and ability to influence senior level discussion making \t Experience in communications with a fragmented group of stakeholders, in multiple locations \t Exceptional writing and oral presentation skills \t Creativity and flair \t A track record of understanding new communications trends and their application to a changing employee pool, and leadership communications \t Experience of tracking and reporting on impact of communications
