You should be able lead and work positively as part of a large and diverse multidisciplinary team. The post provides an opportunity to influence and develop practice as the Department continues to provide high quality emergency care.
You require having evidence of continuing personal development excellent with a commitment to influencing change and improving standards of patient care.
Applicants should have extensive experience at Band 5 level in Emergency Department nursing and proven ability to demonstrate leadership qualities
Ninewells is a regional trauma centre and provides a pre hospital care service. The post holder will have the opportunity to work as part of the trauma team and deliver vital emergency care in the pre hospital setting
Successful post-holders will have access to a range of CPD activities linked to Emergency Nursing, including opportunities to undertake Masters level study and develop enhanced skills.
The primary base is within the Emergency Department at Ninewells Hospital. Depending on the needs of the service you may be required to rotate to the Emergency Department at Perth Royal Infirmary
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the NMC Register
